Prestigious building project in urban conservation area

Stenball sometimes takes on private client work such as this fascinating project. It entailed creating one imposing residence from two buildings in one of London’s most prestigious locations. The two are in adjoining roads and linked at right angles. The build began when the downstairs flat in one property came up for sale and the owner of the one above bought it. Stenball remodelled it into a single luxury apartment over two floors. But keen to expand further and loving the area, the owner then purchased the next door property too with a view to transforming them both into one massive home. Quite apart from the challenges presented with working in a highly protected urban conservation area, the work was undertaken with the utmost consideration as the owner lived in the existing flats throughout the project.
